About the NCC T&D HSSE Department

The HSSE Department of National Contracting Company, Transmission & Distribution Division, is responsible for the health, safety, security, and environmental performance of all NCC T&D operations across Saudi Arabia. We support projects spanning substations, overhead transmission lines, and underground cable systems, working across four regional operations: Eastern, Central, South, and West. Our role is to ensure that every project is planned, executed, and delivered without compromising the safety of our people, the integrity of our assets, or the environment in which we operate.

To provide practical, risk-based safety leadership that protects our workforce, supports project delivery, and drives continuous improvement across all NCC T&D operations.

HSSE Approach

Safety at NCC T&D is operational, not theoretical. We focus on identifying and controlling risks where the work happens, not where the paperwork sits. Our professionals work directly with project teams to manage hazards in real time, implement effective controls, and ensure that safety decisions are made by people who understand the work.

We prioritize management of change, emerging risk identification, and frontline engagement because these are where incidents are prevented, not in policy documents alone.
